New Life Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church located within the Clinton City limits in Sampson County, North Carolina. We use the King James Bible as our reference for all teaching. You will find a friendly welcome if you choose to visit us. Come and be a part of our worship. We have two services on Sundays, 10:30 am and 6:00 pm and indepth bible study on Wednesdays. Nursery is provided for all services and Van transportation is available for all services as well.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Proverbs 29:18

A small group of Christians with this bible verse in mind met for the first time in an office at the Agri Expo Center on Warsaw Road in Clinton, N.C., in 1988.

They had a clear vision of what they wished to accomplish in the years ahead. This group became the Clinton Baptist Temple.

A few years later, they moved to a small building on the present site at 2605 S.E. Blvd., with Pastor James Andrews. The year was 1995

They had 25 chapter members; Kenneth, Barbara, Laura and Kendra Eldridge; Beth and Frankie Rackley, Fannie and James Perry; James and Joan Andrews; O.H. and Gladys Duncan; Jim and Thelma Daughtry; Joyce Herring; Robert, Lucille, Jennifer and Stephanie Jacobs; Jason, Peggy and Teresa Lewis; and Debbie, Amber and Bradley Holland.

Interim pastors were Pastor Kenneth Eldridge, William Mulligan and Tom Wagoner from 1988 to 2002. They built a new church in 2001 on the present property and changed the name to New Life Baptist Church.

The present pastor is Pastor Dave Page, a native of Winston- Salem who took over the pastorate in 2002, coming from Somerset Bible Baptist Church in Somerset, New Jersey, where he was associate pastor.

Pastor Page, his wife Tammy and children Jared, Josh and Laura reside on Wendy Lane in Clinton.

The Church’s vision is being realized thanks to hardworking, dedicated members. They are still building, having first added a larger sanctuary.

They have also just finished building a 4,000 square foot fellowship hall with classrooms. “We are a mission’s church,” said Pastor Page, “supporting 37 missionaries and mission projects in over 22 countries! As soldiers of the cross, we are all in an ongoing battle to win others to Christ.”
